Description

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket for Women

The matte PU finish is what sets the Lara apart — no high-shine, no plastic-y sheen, just a clean, modern surface that looks more intentional and less costume-y than your average faux leather jacket. The cropped cut lands right at the hip, which means it works with almost everything in your wardrobe without overwhelming it.

  • Matte vegan leather finish — sleek and contemporary, skips the glossy look entirely
  • Moto-style lapel collar adds structure and edge without being too much
  • Loose, relaxed fit layers easily over hoodies, bodysuits, and everything in between
  • Cropped hip-length silhouette flatters high-waisted jeans, skirts, and trousers
  • Long sleeves with a clean, unfussy cut for a streamlined finish
  • Lightweight polyester-based construction makes it a genuine three-season piece

The Lara pulls off that rare trick of looking like an outfit on its own — throw it over a slip dress for a night out or pair it with wide-leg trousers for a weekday look that actually has some personality. It's the kind of jacket that earns its permanent spot in your rotation quickly.

Sizing: True to size. The relaxed fit gives you enough room to layer without needing to go up a size.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 4.7 / 5 from 102 reviews.

Finally a moto jacket that hits at exactly the right spot on my hips. Paired it with high-waisted black trousers and got three compliments the first day I wore it. The relaxed fit means I can layer it over a chunky hoodie on cold days too.

Michael G. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Really happy with this purchase overall. The matte PU finish looks genuinely nice and not cheap at all. Only thing is I probably could have sized down to a small since the medium is a little roomier than I expected.

Oliver G. 4/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

The lapel collar gives it just enough edge without looking like you're heading to a Halloween party. I got the brown and it pairs with literally everything I own. Lightweight enough that I forget I'm wearing it.

Christian M. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

The jacket looks great and the matte brown finish is beautiful. My concern is that it traps heat more than I expected, even for a lightweight construction. Fine for fall weather but I started sweating pretty quickly when I wore it indoors for more than an hour.

Adeline S. 3/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Been looking for a faux leather jacket that doesn't scream costume and this is exactly it. The cropped hip length works perfectly with my high-waisted jeans. Got the burgundy and it's a showstopper.

Addison N. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

The jacket itself is really well done, the matte finish feels intentional and the moto collar sits flat and looks clean. Would love to see an XL option added for those of us who want a bit more room in the shoulders.

Harper W. 4/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

The photos are nice but the actual jacket exceeds them. The brown has this warm, earthy tone that feels really current and not at all cheap. I've been wearing it over bodysuits and it looks polished every single time.

Layla B. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Saw the description mention layering over hoodies and was skeptical but it genuinely works. My oversized sweatshirt fits under it without bunching or stretching the jacket out. The relaxed fit is the reason this works so well.

Joe K. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Got the small in black and it fits perfectly through the shoulders and arms. The cropped hip length is exactly what I wanted for pairing with high-rise trousers. This jacket is going to get a lot of use.

Mike L. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

I've tried several vegan leather jackets and most look cheap within a few wears. The Lara has held up really nicely and the matte finish still looks fresh after multiple outings. Really glad I went with the black.

Amanda K. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Really like the look of this jacket, the matte PU surface genuinely photographs beautifully and looks great in person. Docking one star only because the lining feels a little thin for colder weather, but for fall layering it's perfect.

Hazel M. 4/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Everyone talks about black but the brown colorway is where it's at. It has this muted, matte warmth that works perfectly for autumn and transitions into winter layering without missing a beat. The hip-length crop is ideal with wide-leg pants.

Jenny W. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

At $79.99 I was prepared for something that looked a little budget but this genuinely surprised me. The matte finish looks polished and the moto collar lays flat without puckering. Only wish it came in a longer length option too.

Brooklyn Y. 4/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

The hip-length crop is genuinely flattering on my petite frame. Black matte finish, no shiny weirdness, just a clean modern jacket that goes over everything. Already ordered the burgundy as a backup.

Sadie S. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Every faux leather jacket I've owned before this had that gross shiny plastic look. The matte finish on the Lara is completely different, it reads as intentional and almost sophisticated. Sizing was true to size in the medium.

Ed G. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Bought this on a whim and it's become the jacket I reach for most. The relaxed fit means I can wear it over a bodysuit for a night out or over a hoodie on a casual Saturday and it works both ways. The matte black finish is just the right amount of edge.

Nicole M. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

The burgundy color is stunning and the matte finish photographs incredibly well. Fits nicely through the body but the sleeves run just slightly long on me, which is an easy fix but worth mentioning if you're between sizes.

Savannah L. 4/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Really appreciate how lightweight this is because I hate feeling weighed down by outerwear. The polyester construction keeps it easy to move in and the moto collar adds structure without any stiffness. Black was the right call.

Terry S. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

The burgundy is deeper and richer than I expected based on the product photo. It works beautifully with neutral tones and makes every outfit feel a little more intentional. The cropped cut doesn't overwhelm my frame at all.

John G. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

This jacket looks great and feels more put-together than anything else at this price point. The matte brown finish is warm and modern. I'll note that the inner lining has a faint chemical smell when new, but it aired out completely after a day or two.

Olivia B. 4/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

The moto lapel collar gives the jacket great shape without making it feel rigid or uncomfortable. I've been throwing it on over everything from bodysuits to oversized knits and it holds its structure regardless. The black matte finish looks polished in a way that cheaper jackets just can't pull off.

Arianna D. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

The hip length is super flattering and pairs well with high waisted jeans. Only thing I will say is the sleeves ran just a touch long on me, but the matte black color is stunning and not plasticky at all.

Nicole P. 4/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Got the black and honestly the matte PU surface looks so much more intentional than the shiny faux leather I've tried before. It hits right at the hip, layers perfectly over sweaters, and nothing about it screams costume. I've worn it three times this week already and keep getting compliments. At $79.99 this is genuinely one of the better purchases I've made this year.

Brian C. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Ordered the brown in a medium and it fits like it was made for me. The matte finish is exactly what I wanted, nothing shiny or cheap looking, just a really clean surface that photographs beautifully. I wore it over a white turtleneck for a birthday dinner and got so many compliments on it. For $79.99 this is honestly one of the best purchases I have made this year.

Brian M. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Got the burgundy in a medium and I am not exaggerating when I say I have worn it four times this week. The matte finish is everything, it looks like actual leather and nobody has questioned it once. The cropped cut hits right at my hip and pairs so well with high-waisted jeans, I genuinely feel put together without trying.

Donald R. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Grabbed the small in black without trying anything on and it fits like I planned it out for months. The moto details like the asymmetrical zip and the sleeve hardware look sharp without being over the top, and the cropped silhouette flatters my shape way better than longer jacket styles ever have. This is the jacket I will wear until it falls apart.

Ralph S. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

I wore the black Lara over a blouse to work and then straight out to dinner afterward and it transitioned perfectly. The matte finish reads professional enough for my casual office environment without looking boring. Only minor thing is I wish there were inside pockets, but the exterior zipper pockets are functional at least.

Serenity S. 4/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Cropped jackets usually hit me in a weird spot but the hip length on this one works with jeans, skirts, everything.

Samantha M. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

The small fits true to size and the moto stitching detail adds a nice edge without being overdone. Only docking one star because I wish the pockets were a little deeper, but overall a really solid jacket for the price.

Samantha R. 4/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Got the black in a medium and the hip length is exactly what I needed to wear over dresses without the jacket taking over the whole look. The surface has that clean matte quality that reads more expensive than $79. This is a seriously good buy.

Ken M. 5/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

The brown colorway looks genuinely expensive in person, much better than it does in the photos online. My only note is that the zipper pulls feel a little lightweight compared to the rest of the jacket, but nothing has broken and I have worn it probably fifteen times already. Overall really happy with this purchase.

Natalie P. 4/5

Lara Matte Faux Leather Moto Jacket

The black is a true, deep black with no weird undertones or sheen, which I really appreciate. Arms fit perfectly but the waist is a touch boxy on me, so just be aware if you prefer a more fitted silhouette through the middle.
